Things that can go wrong on X-mass holiday - Part...
1) Washington Dulles - Charlotte delayed due to cargobay door that will not close
2) Everybody to deboard plane due to leakage (water is pouring from the ceiling)
3) Washington Dulles - Charlotte delayed for 1,5 hr due to mechanical problems (no kidding…)
4) Due to delay, missing one’s connection to Orlando

Almost there!
We made it to Washington Dulles airport. Now a hop over Charlotte, NC and then the last straight to Orlando. Margot is digesting the trip better then her daddy-dear.
Things that work out well during X-mass Holiday
1) Public libraries with internet facilities
2) Having your flights confirmed (leaving tomorrow - Yeehaa)
3) Easy Check-in online (whistle of a cent)
4) Upgrade to Economy plus
5) Having an - unexpected - Xmass diner with your family
6) Finding mum’s gift in a Department store 5 mins before they close shop….
7) Playing around with Margot (making this the best X-mas holiday...

1) Airport is closed due to heavy snow
2) Flights are cancelled due to extreme weather conditions
3) No seats available to get you on your destination for the next 4 days (backlog to be handled)
4) No alternatives available (ex. if you want to fly Brussels - London - Los Angeles - Atlanta - Orlando with no guarantees that the flights after LA have seats available)

Wakker sinds 05:00. Margootje krijgt drie tandjes tegelijk en is er behoorlijk ziek van. Ze heeft onrustig geslapen en heeft ons de hele nacht wakker gehouden.
